Here is a little back story on what Halo Community Live is. On December 30th, 2008, MCQ22 and RandomSauce put together an event where Halo machinima makers show their videos to an audience of Halo fans, live. Over 500 fans joined in and watched as machinimas, interviews, and other Halo-based videos were broadcasted live through http://www.livestream.com. Now, two years later, we want to do it again. This time however, using Halo Reach.
The event is planned for sometime in late December, this year. The Halo Community Live staff has not talked to many machinima producers yet, but we have talked to Child's Play Charity, a gaming community based charity that has done a wonderful amount for sick children all over the world. We are definitely going to incorporate that this time around.
So why is this being posted? Because we want the community's opinion on what should be shown at this years event. It can be anything from an interview with a certain person, or maybe a game of some sort, anything you want, we want to hear about it. So send us an email at halocommunitylive@gmail.com.
We look forward to what you guys have in mind, and if you yourself want to get directly involved, please let us know. We are looking for upcoming machinima makers to show their stuff.
